A little something for everyone. Shot in natural light, sometimes with strobes for balance.

A plate of delicious muffins - strobe from front-right a little higher than camera:

And that's another platter of muffins - this time in nice window light.

Same muffins in a close-up. Diffused natural light brings out natural colours and smoothens textures:

And now a mix - natural light with a little help of a strobe (from left):

Very important when on a trip - colourful food. Here beautiful meringues in Paris - the reflection in the window and pricetag gives an idea where it was taken.

Ingredients are also very important. You can use occasions like halloween to go nuts with some pumpkins and strobes :)

Arrange, rearrange, add stuff, take some away and change lighting and shooting angles.

Get up close - it's usually a good idea.

Get a person in the frame - they can bring some life and personality into the picture.

And just have fun with it.
